Burma Shaving, Habeas Corpus, Constitution & Legislators: What will they do?
Despite the fact that the Constitution is the law of the land, the President has promised to see what could be done legislatively in order to be free of that ball and chain.
While everyone knows of this event, who is it that is asking, “WHAT WILL OUR REPRESENTATIVES DO?”
The idea that ANY president thinks he can go to those who are in office to represent the Constitution and the people it protects, and believes he can overcome the law of the land, is a horrifying development and change in our country.
His actions, and what the legislators do now, need to be under intense scrutiny by the people. We need to know who is representing America, and who is NOT. Our future depends upon it.
They’ve Noticed Ron Paul’s Platform….
“I believe in a strong… you know… dollar” our illustrious president intones.
“Let’s get out of NAFTA” our illustrious democratic candidates mention. Of course, it is just rhetoric, which we knew already.
They also want to ‘renegotiate trade deals‘ to bring employment back, of course, as long as it doesn’t interfere with foreign policy, a contentious issue between Clinton and Obama- who REALLY knows foreign policy?
Now that its getting to the end, these ‘politico-speak’ appropriations of issues they know nothing, and care nothing about, are an attempt to get the voters confused about who can really deal with critical problems. It buys time for the real ‘power-politics’ to begin- starting with the super-delegates.
In all this, I want to know- have any of you LISTENED to the people?
No, you haven’t, and its all about YOU and YOUR AMBITIONS.
Obama may become the first black president, but like Colin Powell, the intimate cadre behind the scenes will guarantee your humiliation, your disgrace, so that it will never happen again. They will use you like a dog and pony show, and the cover you give them, and the $287 BILLION more dollars you want to make available, they’ll suck up so fast that your head will spin. Not a penny will reach those you intend to help. You just don’t know the game.
Clinton, though, is another matter altogether. She IS ruthless enough to TAKE YOU DOWN one way or another. She has proven that there is no lie she won’t tell, no power-grab she won’t make, and her ambition is a ‘take no prisoners’ obsession. Anyone with an instinct of self-preservation won’t step on her tail.
The Politics of Denial is getting more and more exposed- the shell over its rotten core has cracked, and LOTS of Americans are finding the smell REPULSIVE.
This will be a very interesting year.
