A Quick and Thorough Course in Economics

Now, perhaps you recognize where this quote comes from?

” 29. Every kind of loan proves infirmity in the State and a want of understanding of the rights of the State. Loans hang like a sword of Damocles over the heads of rulers, who, instead of taking from their subjects by a temporary tax, come begging with outstretched palm of our bankers. Foreign loans are leeches which there is no possibility of removing from the body of the State until they fall off of themselves or the State flings them off. But the GOY States do not tear them off; they go on in persisting in putting more on to themselves so that they must inevitably perish, drained by voluntary blood-letting.”

Victorian American Fiat Bubbles!

grow poor, why we’re poor, currier and ives

Here’s an interlude: Victorian Americans Currier and Ives drew the many bubbles of fiat currency!

“Why we’re poor!”

Ron Paul LISTENS to our forebears. When will we?

The Politics of Denial

 The Whore of Babylon?

The GOP conservative movement has become as much of a disgrace as the far left has been. Now that McCain is the favored ‘front runner’ of the party, conservatives are claiming that they would rather see a Billary presidency!

Aside from the fact that Bill Clinton will never settle for the position of ‘First Lady,’ the real danger is that we will see a neo-commie Hillary presidency with a Bill Clinton presidency over the UN!

They would rather risk this incomprehensible state of affairs than take a serious look at the dark horse candidacy of Ron Paul! Why? Because the puppet masters that own the parties AND the media say that a vote for Ron Paul is a wasted vote, but as Dr. Paul recently asked about the neo-cons, “why should we believe them? They’ve been wrong about everything else!”

Am I imagining this? I wish I was! I attended the GOP delegate conference in Michigan yesterday and heard with my own ears the GOP’s party allegiance with the ‘UN GOVERNMENT.’ The bizarre thing is that the room was filled with the GOP faithful, who took all this in stride as if nothing unusual happened! Only a few newbies to the delegate process, though long-term republicans, were shocked at that.

When, exactly, did this turn of affairs occur? I have no idea, but what was made very clear at the convention was that GOP influentials had made decisions about THIS election TWO YEARS AGO and were still in hot pursuit of that agenda. There were to be NO CHANGES, even to the point of demanding to have new delegates put down in writing how they would use their vote- another unthinkable move.

It is already plain that big-brother in our government is destroying honest, hard-working American families- first the Amish, and now regular families through foreclosures and municipal actions that guarantee poverty and economic slavery for the rest of their lives, and the 100 year war of McCain, funded by China and paid for by the next 100 generations of Americans.

Hulsmann explains the spiritual and social destruction brought about by fiat economic policies, and the hyper-government that renders almost useless intermediate forms of governance. That the GOP is proclaiming that the UN is a government, and they are supporting this government, is indicative of their contempt for American sovereignty and the service to the PEOPLE that it is required by Constitutional Law to provide.

These economic policies make the effects on the populace irrelevant in terms of ending unnecessary war, just or unjust. Where is the horror of our conservatives at the total rejection of the Just War Doctrine, substituting instead the fascist doctrine of pre-emptive, first-strike, and USABLE NUCLEAR weapons war? Against a developing country that poses no genuine or even credible threat to us?

This machine that intends to grind America and Americans into dust, regardless of consequences, is proclaiming through its media, over and over, that Dr. Paul is crazy fringe and impossible to take seriously. I cannot believe that the republicans and conservatives are so stupid to accept this smoke and mirrors deception ONE MORE TIME. Therefore, the only explanation is that they too have sold out our country. There was no excuse for Chinagate to be covered over and left be by the conservatives, excepting that they too were gaining so much from the industrial war machine that they just couldn’t let it come out to the public.

Christians too, of every flavor, have bought into the media circus and are willing to forego the very foundations of what they profess to believe at this hour of ‘judgment’ on our country.

The politics of denial have gotten too far along to ignore any longer; the fruits of their labor is manifesting in an uglier fashion every single day. At least, this time out, we have ONE politician speaking truth. I get the feeling that this is our last chance to accept and support that, whatever it takes, or face some very serious consequences.
