The Dirty Secret is Coming Home to Roost

Our Comptroller has resigned because of fiscal irresponsibility of our elected leaders.  He fears for the survival of the country.  Why are the candidates for President so incompetent about the economics of America, and why does everyone ignore Ron Paul who understands these matters?

ron Paul may fix the tax issues that are plaging this nation but are we ready for such drastic changes as he has possed? I think it is too quick, and the overnight switch in the taxacion of the people will hurt the nation before it helps us.

ditchu, all of his plans have phase-in times to ease the changeover times on those that will be affected. What 9-to-5er wouldn’t trade their job for their own business or just a new job in a rapidly GROWING economy? Revitalizing every industry is the end result of shrinking our over-reaching federal government. Couple that with the innovative creativity of the American people and you’ve basically got an unending boom in this country.

I’ve run my own business. It’s a lot harder than a 9-5 post. here is a small business start up rundown.

Start-up expences which I will obmit.

first year: 60-80 hours a week, no vacation or sick days, rarely a holiday if you are lucky. all expences are considered out of pocket. net pre-tax profit in the negative.

secound year, (if you survive the first): 60-80 hours a week, no vacation or sick days, rarely a holiday if you are lucky. all expences are either from income due to sales or out of pocket. net pre-tax profit in 0 to negative.

Third year: 60-80 hours a week, no vacation or sick days, rarely a holiday if you are lucky. all expences should be from sales but some may be out of pocket. net pre-tax profit if you are lucky: $0-3000 for the full year.

Fifth (yes I skiped one) year: 60-80 hours a week, no vacation or sick days, rarely a holiday if you are lucky. all expences from profits. net pre-tax profit should be imporving yearly and more that $500 for the year. if not you have a failed business.

This is usual for self emploied and sole-propriators. At current 90% of all business in the US is run by small business.

Just the cold hard reality of being your own boss. Oh, and if you pay yourself out of the business, you have to declair it as income so the Government can tax it.
