Our current governments have gotten to the point where they are finally cannibalizing the people. While a leech sucks the blood of its host until it dies, our government leeches have killed that goose and now are eating it. Even if it is still kicking…
Michigan is a fine case in point. In the last twelve months, the population fleeing this fine state has dropped by at least 400,000 people. While the unemployment rate is reportedly low, +/- 14%, that doesn’t account for the drop in population.
The figures are further distorted here because the Upper Peninsula has an unemployment rate of between 26% and 30%, and Detroit is reporting an unemployment rate of 50%.
But, rather than adjust the size of the government to the new reality of a declining population and the mass exodus of businesses and jobs; the state has instead increased taxes, fees and fines on the few who remain, and rather than cutting excessive government or the legislation that damages the ability of the citizens to support themselves, they only make cuts where it hurts only the citizenry and only in the way it causes them the most pain.
Rather than revisiting the failed strategies, the government has opted for pain to its citizens in an attempt to make us cry ‘UNCLE!!! Tax us more, just don’t hurt us any longer!’
And there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to indicate that this will change anytime in the foreseeable future.
Therefore, if the citizens are going to develop an alternative economy, it is all but totally certain that it will have to be ‘under the radar.’
Currently all government, from the most national to the most local, has oodles and oodles of laws that are all designed to take a bite out of every single thing you might do to support yourself.
Locally there are laws prohibiting or proscribing how you can use your land, how many vehicles (customers) can visit your home, demands for licensure or declarations of doing business that guarantees you’ll have to account for every penny and pay taxes, sometimes very high alternative taxes, on any income you take in; when bartering you’ll have to declare any trade IN DOLLARS so you can be taxed on sales AND on income.
There are even laws that prohibit activities that will feed your family, like subsistence farming or ‘poaching’, even if your family will go hungry otherwise.
Smart citizens will begin taking back their government at the local level, and line by line eliminating every single ‘law’ that makes earning a living harder or impossible.
As we go, we must force our state level government officials to eliminate laws on the books that put the government into a position of being enemy of their own citizens.
Doing so opens the possibility of local currencies, genuine local capitalism, and the proper confluence of laws and liberties.
As long as the cannibalization of the people by the government exists, your ability to take care of yourself and your loved ones is in serious danger. The force of the State will do you in every time, at any opportunity.
Now is the time to ensure that your right hand KNOWS what your left hand is doing. Work them both. Work to eliminate destructive and dangerous laws and work to build your local alternative economies.
Tea Party Beware! Same GOP Tricks, Different Election
What will it actually kill?
Just like the Rock Man, who sees what he wants to see and hears what he wants to hear, the GOP has decided to attempt to assimilate the Tea Party crowd all the while keeping itself open for the same old tricks to please the ONE PUPPETMASTER.
There is NO COMMITMENT for the criminality and theft to end.
The GOP’s potential platform is designed for the express purpose of drawing the Tea Party crowd, and thereby winning upcoming elections, but without the true commitment that Tea Party people require.
According to WND, the grass-roots rebellion is significant enough to warrant platform changes. Without those changes the Tea Party will never support the GOP.
Some of the proposed platform items are as follows:
I will vote for only that legislation which contains a citation to the specific authority granted in Article 1, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution.
I will vote against any legislation that infringes the individual right to keep and bear arms.
I will vote for legislation that allows the use of domestic resources to achieve energy and food independence.
I will vote against any legislation that results in a federal takeover of any private corporation, institution or entity.
I will vote against any legislation that authorizes the United Nations to impose a tax, levy, fee, or royalty on the United States or any of its citizens.
The first problem Tea Party members will have is that THERE MUST BE A GENUINE COMMITMENT TO THE ENTIRE CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS AS PUT FORTH BY THE FOUNDERS.
One or two sections only means that there will always be loopholes whereby corruption will enter and the infection that is killing our country will just destroy more organs of the body America.
The REAL trick of this platform is the fourth point listed. “I will vote against any legislation that results in a federal takeover of any private corporation, institution or entity.”
How easily this one statement can be manipulated, as if these criminal corporations must be given a free pass because they are ‘privately’ owned. As if ACORN can never be legislated against or closed down because it too is an ‘entity’ protected under this plank.
Commitment by any politician to this particular point is catastrophic to the Tea Party. It means that we cannot audit the Federal Reserve because, as Ron Paul points out, to audit the Fed is to END the Fed.
It means that we cannot take any actions against ‘private’ banks, investment houses or international corporations because to do so is to garner results that will become a takeover or destruction of those entities.
In short, while private property is certainly a Constitutional right, this element of the platform guarantees the status quo as regards criminal corporations, corruption in our government and the continued seizure of citizen’s properties for the enrichment of a few.
Far far better to return to the original practices of our Founders and permit corporations ONLY long enough to provide for the public good. Far better to guarantee that no entity of any kind will have more rights, more privileges, more support than the individual human being citizen.
Far better to force our government to take responsibility to ‘coin money’ and to outlaw with severe penalties anyone or anyTHING (corporations) that operates a currency that is fraudulent and nothing more than counterfeit monopoly money.
The Tea Party is GETTING SOMEWHERE. The politicians are ignoring the citizens in every way, and the rage is growing. If we settle for easily manipulated tricks, we hamstring our own advance and drive a stake through the heart of the country, instead of the vampires we intend to take down.
Prepare for the Shocks of a Real Economy

For about a century, now, we Americans have been living in a ‘manipulated’ economy. The manipulation comes from government, who decides what subsidies, tax breaks, and outright funding that any given company, corporation or crony will get. And that money that is glad-handed around means that those with influence (read politicians and corporations) end up to be the ONLY winners. Seeing yourself on the losing end of that manipulation is a terrifying thing.
Manipulated economy means that the trajectory is ever larger- ever larger government, ever larger corporations, ever larger pools of power including the global ONE, all at the expense of the small, the citizen, the taxpayer, the small farmer, the small property owner.
In order to achieve greater power, greater wealth and greater influence, we see that the deceptions get ever greater. We were TOLD, for decades, the effects of ‘free trade’. We were TOLD, for decades, the effects of a fiat money system, of dependence on Wall Street, of selective tax breaks, and we knew very well the dangers of allowing corruption and criminality to go unpunished and unaccountable at the top.
Now we suffer from the effects of all these, and we’ve only just begun. Watching people you love starve or be killed for what little food they have is not beyond the realm of possibility, and that will be exactly the mechanism that the globalists will use to seize global power. To keep our country, our dignity and our lives, we MUST avoid that level of desperation.
By necessity, then, the choices will be to either develop REAL economy and learn to live within those parameters, or submit to a global fascist government.
What would be the shocks of a genuine, Constitutional economy? One example that I can think of instantly is that of importation from China.
Subsidies and tax breaks of our oil industry and ‘free trade’ mean that it is still cheaper for us to ship products from the other side of the planet, pay to transport them from coast to coast. To do so still means huge international corporation profits.
For you and I, however, it costs a great deal of money to ship goods of any kind from state to state, or even from one address to another inside a state.
One of the shocks will be the true costs of goods. What is cheap now, imported goods, would be hideously expensive, and home-made goods would be simply expensive.
In a REAL economy, there would be no huge subsidies and the genuine cost of raw materials, production, fuel and labor would balance out the costs, actually making it cheaper for people to purchase locally than buying goods created on the other side of the world.
What is prominent now, like insurance and advertising, would fade into the background and what would replace it would be the kind of outreach that would actually make a difference in local economies and national goods and services.
It has long been touted that buying goods cheaper would be great for our economy. Remember the goal that America would be an ‘information’ economy and the drudgery of physical labor would be ‘outsourced’, providing everything cheaper? Aside from the fact that this has been proven to be total propaganda, Americans haven’t received ANY benefit. Even the ‘information economy’ has been able to be outsourced to cheaper labor and the only service that remains here, like waiting tables or home-health aides, is very poorly paid.
I can’t be the only one who’s noticed the horrible QUALITY of the goods produced in China and in other remote parts of the globe. For example, I received a brand new Proctor Silex mixer, the kind that used to be made in America and is now made in China. The very first time I used it to mix some batter, the entire wiring apparatus shorted out and caught fire. When this was made in America it would last for years and was so strong it could mix bread dough.
That mixer may or may not be cheaper, but not even getting one use out of it means that it is simply throwing money down a rat-hole to purchase one, let alone replacing it over and over.
Not to mention the energy costs and pollution costs associated with building junk that are never made up by lifetime use. Wow, we used to ridicule Japan when it made garbage. At least at that time we had the choice to buy American replacements. Now there is no choice because our own manufacturing has been stolen from us.
Has anyone else tossed out their Quickbooks application because the only customer service you could get was useless, expensive and from India, with Indian representatives who couldn’t even understand what your problem was, and when you finally got it across they still couldn’t solve the problem?
Another industry that is almost entirely built on government tax-breaks and subsidies is the advertising industry. This prime propaganda machine that does NO FAVORS for consumers would transform instantly if all the tax benefits, if all the taxpayer funding were to disappear.
Through distortion, lies and propaganda, even the meanings of words have been changed. “We the People’ has been transformed in practicality to ‘We the Parties.’ Capitalism has been transformed from ’savings and their use’ to ‘Wall Street leveraged investments’. ‘Markets’ have been transformed from ‘goods wanted by customers’ to ‘Wall Street financial instruments’.
The only way out of this pseudo, manipulated economy is TAKING IT ALL BACK. Reclamation and restoration is the only answer, and we cannot settle for anything less.
We don’t NEED international banks. We don’t NEED international corporations. We don’t NEED government redistribution from the people to the rich. What we DO NEED are genuine economies that provide stability and the opportunity to let talent, hard work and true property rights for citizens. Only in this way can we KEEP the right to live, the right to live freely, the right to pursue happiness for ourselves and our loved ones.
The true prices in a genuine economy will perhaps shock our systems and seriously change our way of life. Yet at the same time we will be, once again, AMERICANS collectively and individually and the divisions will not be damaging and death dealing, but a source of excitement and variability in our beautiful land.
Time to Talk Alternate Economics

If our mainstream economy totally crashes, and all the best experts say it will, it doesn’t mean that there won’t be ANY economy. Economy is necessity. In order for people to survive, there must be means of getting what is needed, and THAT is economy.
The very basis of our current ‘cash’ economy is that the dollar has its value in only one thing: human labor. It is your own labor, or the labor of someone who works for you, but since gold no longer backs the dollar, then labor is the only thing left in quantity to ‘guarantee’ the money supply.
By merely inflating, perfect strangers (the Fed, the IRS, the State, the banks) lays claim to a certain amount of your labor, and in so doing, steals your time and effort. By further taxing, the value of your labor is assessed against YOU, your property. The worse the inflation, the more damage that is done to the value of your labor, the less it buys for you, and the more of your property is stolen outright.
When the dollar goes, and it will, it will be replaced by two things.
One replacement is a new fiat currency which will ‘reset’ the ‘value’ of your labor and begin the process all over again. The reset will transform your labor to a tiny percentage of the value it held in all the decades past and you will be, in actual fact if not in labels, a slave. It could be in the form of an Amero or other hyper-governmental currency, or it could be in an electronic currency through RFID chips. It could be a combination of the two, but in either case the effect will be the same.
The second replacement is using gold and silver coins to exchange for goods and services. This has been frowned upon by our elites and the government because ‘you can’t earn interest on gold.’ What they are saying, and what they don’t like, is that gold does not give them the ability to steal your labor. They cannot inflate it. They cannot genuinely track it. If you have it in your possession it belongs to you and it ‘guarantees’ the value of your labor and your property.
Therefore, the current elites will most likely do a major seizure of all the gold they can get their hands on from the citizens. As I have written here before, there have been hints in the global media that there will come a point that anyone who owns gold, silver or alternate currencies will be tried as a traitor to the government that is set up after the total collapse.
This is to force us back into the fiat currencies that have robbed us of all we own, robbed us of the value of our labor, and to further rope us into slavery.
Americans being who we are, there have been many experiments in economics that are NOT based on cash and are not based in gold. The government has come down extremely hard on many of them, such as bartering, in order to keep the iron fist of the elites inside any potential for wealth generation.
Since economics of some sort is a necessity for your very survival, I will begin a series of alternate economics and the foundation of them, and I will leave it to your ingenuity to consider and make the most of them.

Seeking Hope: Spring Season Crocus

This winter has been plagued by -40 weather, blizzards and relentless bad news. What human being can live without hope?
But, there is a magnificent reminder, an exquisite and tender light at the end of this tunnel of misery we’re being dragged down. Hope shows itself precious and beautiful; and that is the spring season crocus.
I’ve built you a garden of crocus so that, even if in your neck of the woods they haven’t poked their bright and beautiful faces at you, you can still see them.

Oh, Michigan! Oh, Detroit!!!! Officially the unemployment rate is 21%. That DOESN’T COUNT the people who lost their jobs and never qualify for unemployment benefits, like sub-contractors and 1099 people. It also doesn’t count all the people who have fled the area because the economy is so bad.
As goes Michigan, so goes America. It was said before, and with horror we see it coming true before our very eyes.
Americans won’t give away their sovereignty unless we’re homeless and starving. There couldn’t possibly be a NAU or an NWO unless America was on its knees. Or, six feet under.
Inflationary Depression: Quick Trillionaires in No Time Flat!

When I visited Mexico some years ago, I heard that our border guards were incensed because Mexicans BELIEVED that Americans walked around with bags of money. To their mind, this was laughable, a sign of how IGNORANT people were in Mexico. I mean, wouldn’t ANY American be suspicious of someone who walked around with BAGS of money?
However, when I went to cash a couple of hundred of dollars in for pesos, I discovered that the exchange rate was in the area of 3600 pesos PER DOLLAR and I did, indeed, NEED to walk around with a bag full of money.
Well, what’s a few zeros between you and me, hey? In Zimbabwe where their inflation increases the necessity to add zeros to their currency (at the rate of 215 MILLION percent) BY THE HOUR, knocking off ten or twelve every few months and re-setting the value of their currency is quite a common occurrence.
Shortly, when Obama calls a ‘bank holiday’ as predicted by Gerald Celente, your money won’t be available until the holiday is over, at an anticipated rate of ten cents on the dollar. Its either that, or you’ll be an instant trillionaire overnight, month after month after month.
Isn’t governance by the Federal Reserve a dream?

Surviving the Depression Strategy: The NEW Homesteading

The economic collapse, this new Great Depression, is afflicting States and Municipalities as never before also. New strategies are required for the citizens to survive this coming disaster, and set themselves up to succeed and prosper in the years to come.
Recently Rep. Marci Kaptur captured everyone’s attention by telling homeowners facing foreclosure to “Stay PUT.”
Readers of this blog will know that several months ago I recommended a similar thing, and as wonderful of an idea that this representative from Toledo has, I suggest that Americans begin taking this idea much farther.
I call it ‘The New Homesteading.’
Finally this year, the local municipalities are suffering so much from foreclosures, that they are beginning to realize that their interests actually lie with the CITIZENS, and NOT with the bankers, the investment class, the wealthy.
A few years ago I had a direct and very painful experience with the prevailing attitude of a local municipality when my house burned down to the ground. The city, in the habit of picking the carcass of every citizen, made sure that they got as much money as possible from my disaster- going out of their way to charge huge fees for unnecessary mowing & other stupidities; requiring things that were completely senseless but damaging to the re-building process and charging huge amounts of money for those things, refusing to negotiate reasonable rebuilding plans (like a smaller, more affordable house) and so on, and therefore finally the entire project was cancelled- my being tens of thousands of dollars poorer and the entire catastrophe becoming a total loss.
Worse, the authorities refused to hold the insurance company accountable to the insurance contract as written.
The State of Michigan, its politicians and its cities have long been in the pocket of the insurance companies, bankers and mortgage companies.
Now, however, as the cities see growing areas of wastelands in their towns- formerly occupied homes that no longer pay taxes, no longer use the utilities, no longer receive maintenance, because they are ‘owned’ by some vague financial institute through some vague financial instrument somewhere in the world, the cities are discovering that their best asset is what it always has been- its citizens.
I want to point out one very important thing here- one of the most FOUNDATIONAL aspects of wealth building and equality that ever occurred in these United States was HOMESTEADING. There were VAST tracts of land that were unoccupied, uninhabited, undeveloped, unproductive, and a growing immigrant population that was desperate to get a good start in this country- by the sweat of their brows, by their work and ingenuity.
The government, at that time set out a program of ‘homesteading’ whereby landless peasants could go and find a piece of unowned property, and if they developed it, after a certain length of time could lay claim to that property and become its owner.
The modern version of this is the ’squatters laws’ that are on the books almost everywhere.
Up until now, the State would claim properties because of unpaid taxes, and sell them to the investing class for the tax money only, and the mortgages and liens on those properties would simply be void.
However, there is no longer an ‘investment’ class that is able or willing to take on ‘abandoned properties’, fix up and maintain them and offer them to sale to a population that doesn’t even have work enough to sustain them.
Just because the State SAYS it is ‘owed’ taxes does not MEAN that those taxes are ‘owed.’ There are altogether too many cushy tax breaks for the friends of any given administration that do not apply to the citizens at large.
How many times have you heard the scream to heaven by government saying ‘WE ARE LOSING MONEY to taxes that are OWED to us because people are …. buying stuff from another state… aren’t paying enough cigarette taxes…. have stopped vacationing here and we are losing tourists tax dollars…’
Let us be clear here. The STATE DOES NOT LOSE MONEY because they have failed to find enough ways to tax people! THOSE MONEYS WERE NEVER OWED TO THE STATE UNTIL THE LEGISLATION LAID CLAIMS IT SHOULD NEVER HAVE LAID. Sales taxes are not OWED until a person decides to purchase, for example.
In the boom times, the ’state’ made YOU and every working American pay over half of their money in taxes. Rather than being in service to YOU, the citizen, YOU the citizen were enslaved six months of the year to a vampire government.
Properties that ‘belong’ to the State ACTUALLY belong to the PEOPLE who ARE the state. They belong to the citizens, to the taxpayers. All the infrastructure that supports these buildings was paid for by the taxpayers- infrastructure that is going to hell in a handbasket as the citizens lose their jobs and lose their incomes and no longer even qualify to pay taxes or stay in their homes because of the usury charged them- usury that the laws SHOULD have protected the people from in the first place.
It is time for the citizens to begin a NEW government policy of their own- the New Homesteading. Are you and your family homeless already? Go find a decent foreclosed house and move into it. Get it livable, see if you can find work. This spring plant the entire yard as a food-producing garden. Set out your garbage and recyclables for city collection. Enroll your kids in the area school. Turn on the cable and utilities. BELONG there.
Life is much more affordable with no mortgage payment, no insurance payments and no property taxes.
Homestead the place as Americans used to do.
Make the city, the state, and any ‘investor’ pay the expense of throwing you out, the expense of proper records, the lawsuits to evict or ‘foreclose.’ Do everything you can to transform the legislation in your new city to permit homesteading, to lift wasteful lawn requirements and home-based business restrictions. Demand the city permit animals besides cats and dogs so you can keep chickens, or goats or sheep.
There is a limit to how much any of these entities will spend, especially if there is a mass movement of citizens laying claim to the properties of this country that belong to them and no one else.
It is a true statement that possession is 9/10 of the law. It is time that it worked for the citizens and not the elites only.
CellAdam Cancer Treatment Debate: Damian Thompson & Zenit

Now, here’s a REAL quandary. ANOTHER ‘push-me pull-you’ debate from two EXTREMELY RELIABLE sources, Zenit and Damian Thompson of Holy Smoke.
ANOTHER ‘push-me pull-you’ debate about stem cell research, embryonic stem cell research, the church and the church, and in the center of all of this, and the ones paying the price, are those poor souls struggling with cancer and other diseases.
Let’s begin talking about WILD claims, shall we?
The stem-cell industry has dragged every pity party who has had more than 15 minutes of fame into the presence of an adoring Congress & Senate in order to promote stem cell research, and MORE specifically, EMBRYONIC stem cell research, for the potential cure of everything from spinal injury paralysis, Alzheimer’s Disease, cancer, diabetes, baldness, Muscular Dystrophy, and on and on in the universe of potential miraculous cures, all the way down to freckles.
This is the magic CURE ALL according to the ‘industry.’
In fact, it is so believable that bankrupt states like Michigan and California have purposely gone out of their way to invest countless hundreds of millions, even BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars in the bio sciences, slavering at the thought that these technologies will create a very high ROI and turn those states back into powerhouses of economic booms.
In all this, from the far stretches of liberaldom and even conservativedom come vicious, livid, screeching accusations that the Vatican is opposed to all science, all medicine, all human progress for the reason that it condemns dismantling embryos cell by cell for research or medicinal purposes.
The Vatican is NOT opposed to stem cell research and never has been. It is opposed to the useless and unnecessary experimentation on, and destruction of, embryos for the purposes of stem cell research. The Vatican is totally in support of ‘adult stem cells’ – so named for obfuscation purposes clearly, but available in huge quantities in umbilical cord blood and in amniotic fluid, and proving very effective in a wide range of illnesses.
But with all this hoopla, all the blame-game and accusations, per business-as-usual there are almost no treatments available in the United States with the breakthroughs that have been made in other countries. Citizens attempting to obtain the same medicines, at prices lowered in other countries, faced immediate action by the FDA and the government, making such international purchases illegal. Medication and treatment prices are kept artificially so high that an entire new class of tourism has developed for Americans- medical tourism.
Not so wild claims:
In 2007, census figures revealed there were more than 45 million Americans without health insurance, many more who were underinsured.
That was BEFORE the massive job losses due to the collapsing economy that we have been experiencing the last two years.
We also know that the Congress, under pressure from big pharma, attempted to ban and/or restrict alternative nutritional supplements. Citizen outrage was so great that the bill never passed.
So in the face of a cancer treatment that is helpful AND effective, inexpensive, is ethical according to Christian standards, discussed in a highly respected Vatican journal and used in Catholic hospitals, Damian Thompson considers all this ‘counter knowledge?’
Damian says:
I should add that Pentin writes authoritatively for The Catholic Herald on Vatican affairs, where he knows what he is talking about. I am at a loss to explain the disappearance of his critical faculties on this occasion.
In my estimation, it is Damian Thompson’s critical faculties, and especially, his compassion that have disappeared on this occasion. Blocked by a softening Nanny State cushy health system that most Americans can only dream of, the man has become possessed by arrogance.
The loss is YOURS, Damian, yours and those who read your information like it is gospel.
Either stem cells are living up to those incredible claims or they are not. Just like other supplements, Americans can and do have a right to give them a try.
Having been one of those many souls who has lost loved ones with cancer, loved ones who lived, worked and died without health insurance, who paid the taxes that went into the wild claims of health research; I can only say that if there are any out there who have a chance that this alternative will work, that this alternative will even help, then in every possible way I support this effort. What I noticed missing right away is BUSINESS. No Commerce, no Small Business, no Large Business, no Business Development…
Unless it comes under ‘additional issues.’
On the other hand, social issues are broken out very widely. There is ‘family,’ ’seniors,’ ‘women,’ ‘civil rights,’ ‘immigration,’ and ‘disability.’
Nothing under ‘housing,’ ‘banking,’ or ‘Federal Reserve.’ No ‘agriculture.’

Almost instantaneously after the swearing in ceremony, the section on women, with its new and radical pro-abortion stance, was posted on this new blog. Change indeed.
While the administration seems to intend to include everyone under its mantle, the prominent absence of business related issues, agriculture, banking, and the profound commitment to abortion is guaranteed to bring on a firestorm of controversy almost overnight.
This will certainly be an interesting blog to watch, and to watch for actions and deeds related to this new administration. A platform like that can only be one thing- divisive.
